Kris Amicus is a creative technologist and digital artist, who specialises in the delivery of technical immersive experiences.
He is a highly motivated Audio Visual professional with over 13 years of engineering and creative experience in installation/production environments. Kris began his career moving from technician roles into engineering with a focus on integration, working in large-scale productions and installations across Australia.
Kris followed his passion for art into the management of immersive projection galleries, exhibiting Van Gogh Alive in cities such as Hong Kong, Taipei, Mexico City, Manila and Bari. He also managed the delivery of the Sensory 4 gallery for DaVinci Alive at the Canada Science and Technology Museum in Ottawa (2019) and the Denver Museum of Nature & Science (2019).
Kris has gone on to specialise in developing interactive installations, exploring the relationship between art and technology in shared physical spaces. This has taken him into development utilising tools such as Touchdesigner, Arduino, Notch, Houdini and Blender to create innovative new worlds of form and colour.
